There are many operating systems available today. Some of them are of high quality such as GNU/Linux, some of them are of poor quality but gave great look such as Windows. So why to develop another operating system instead of using the existing ones?
If you want simple answer, here it is: I never seen an operating system that has all the features I want from an operating system of my dreams.
